My hair is thick and somewhat coarse, even though it isn’t dyed or processed in any way, shape or form (I am proud to say that not a single drop of hair dye has touched my hair in almost three years). So when I look for new shampoos and conditioners, I always seek out the kind that specialize in treating and conditioning hair that is thick and coarse (or “dry”, as the shampoo and conditioner manufacturers like to label it as being). However, the slight “downside” is that these types of shampoos and conditioners are almost always intended for colored and treated hair, as well. But, I usually give it a try, and it works out well.

Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Collection I really like what I’ve tried so far with Organix, so I decided to pick up a shampoo and a conditioner from the Organix Revitalizing Pomegranate Green Tea Collection. The stuff smells good, feels good and leaves my hair feeling smooth and looking shiny and vibrant. However, within 30 hours of being washed, particularly if the day is humid, my hair looks shiny and almost greasy. And it doesn’t feel much better.

With that said, I don’t think I’ll be using the Pomegranate Green Tea shampoo and conditioner again. Clearly it is designed for hair that is color-treated or otherwise treated, and not for hair that is simply dry.
