I am most definitely a plus-size girl. I yearn for the day when my weight begins with a 1, or even a 2! I just might read up on a Lipofuze review. My stores of choice are Fashion Bug, Lane Bryant and Avenue. Within these three lovely stores I can find stylish tops, coats, jeans and capris. I’ve always passed over the skirts, because being plus size, I get the dreaded chub rub whenever I wear them. But I saw this one skirt at Lane Bryant the other day, and I just HAD to have it. So after trying it on and deciding that I really, really liked it, I went over to check out the SPANX products.
And that’s how a SPANX High Waisted Power Panty made its way home with me. Picture control-top pantyhose that is reinforced, made for plus-size girls, features an open crotch for “when nature calls” (I don’t plan on using this, thank you very much!), and goes up to just below your breasts and down to almost your knees. However, the material is quite silky and light feeling, so while you know it’s there, it doesn’t feel stifling or restrictive, even on an 80 degree day.
Without a doubt, SPANX High Waisted Power Panty lives up to its name. It does sort of “smooth” things out, though that’s not why I bought them. Most importantly, the SPANX provides a silky layer for my legs, so there’s no dreaded chub rub. And after wearing the SPANX and my new skirt today, I went back to Lane Bryant and bought two more skirts. Yay!
