So… I needed a new shampoo and conditioner duo. I was leaving off of the conditioner for a few weeks, but now with the arrival of cold weather and the fact that we turned the heat on in our house, dry air is abound and my hair just goes haywire if there isn’t some extra moisture in it. I wasn’t thrilled with the selection of shampoos and conditioners that Target had to offer, so I headed over to Victoria’s Secret to see what they had. Normally I don’t venture into the mall in the late afternoon, because it’s overrun with annoying teens and screaming kids. Seriously, I’d take a colon cleanse over that experience. But, I really wanted some decent shampoo and conditioner, so off I went!
And I walked out happy with a bottle of Victoria’s Secret Pure Seduction Nourishing Shampoo and a bottle of Victoria’s Secret Pure Seduction Nourishing Conditioner. When it comes to the “Secret Garden” collection, my preferred scent is actually Love Spell, but it was way too overpowering in the shampoo and conditioner. Pure Seduction was more toned down and not quite as fruity smelling.
I used both this morning, and my hair feels clean, refreshed and not too weighed down with moisture (some “nourishing” conditioners have that effect). And the scent? Awesome. I admit, I had a few reservations about having my hair smell like Love Spell (or in this case, Pure Seduction), but it really does smell good. The scent isn’t too strong, or cloying.
