In April of this year I started doing more physical activity, in the form of walking outside and going to the gym when I got the chance. I love listening to music, so I would bring my iPod with me. I decided to get a better set of headphones, ones that would hopefully stay in my ears but not hurt after a while (as the iPod’s generic ear buds tend to do. Well, I now see why they are so cheap. They feel cheap. The clips that secure the headphones to my ears are flimsy, the buds themselves don’t “line up” properly with my ears, and the plastic cover that hides the cord leading up to the bud itself has fallen off. Meanwhile, I’ve only used the headphones maybe ten times, and when not in use they’re kept wrapped up and tucked inside a separate zippered compartment of my purse or laptop bag.
I’m using them right now, and while the sound is great, they look and feel too cheap to continue using. I look forward to upgrading to something better! Then I can feel stylish when I’m in Panera Bread and writing about Apidexin or shopping on eBay.
