I am a full time freelance writer, web designer and web directory maintainer; I’m married, and I have two children. My daughter is five, and my son is three. He is also autistic, and attends two preschools (my daughter is in a regular preschool), and works with therapists both at school, and in our home during the summer. Needless to say, I have a lot of schedules and appointments and events to keep track of. It gets especially fun around the holidays, and at different times throughout the year with doctor appointments, dentist appointments, optometrist appointments, and the bi-annual and annual evaluations for my son.

How do I keep track of everything? Well, I was using Outlook, because it synchronizes with my phone. But Outlook jumbles all of the appointments together, sends “reminders” at odd times, and it’s hard to quickly view the day’s events or a specific appointment on my cell phone. Enter the MomAgenda. It’s a day planner that was created by a mom, for other moms. It features weekly views (and monthly views in the front, if you like to see the entire month in a single glance), and a special “kids” area beneath the regular daily area. I absolutely love this feature, because it makes it easy to separate my appointments and my husband’s work schedule from my daughter’s preschool events and my son’s autistic preschool and therapist events and appointments.
Another feature that I really like is the “dinner” column, which is conveniently positioned beneath the allotted kids area. Dinner is the one meal that I routinely struggle with, so it’s nice to have an area to jot down ideas for a particular night, or even for the entire week.

The MomAgenda features 17 months, so it’ll last you for well over a year! In the back of the MomAgenda is a section for special dates like birthdays and anniversaries, another section to write out party invites and vacation planning ideas, a section for addresses and phone numbers, and finally, a section that’s blank, so you can jot down whatever. In the front of the MomAgenda is a section that contains useful website addresses, toll-free telephone numbers, and a complete list of the holidays that the United States observes.

All in all, the MomAgenda provides everything a busy mom could want! Its cover is a sleek, easy-to-wipe-clean material that feels good to the touch and repels dirt and moisture. The cover is available in pink (my personal favorite), green, brown, blue, purple, and orange, and it can come with the standard “momAgenda” engraving (along with the years the MomAgenda covers), or you can have a custom engraving added for .95. More “elite” versions of the MomAgenda are available in special faux crocodile covers! The MomAgenda is just 7″ x 9″ x 1″, so it’ll tuck right into your purse, laptop bag or diaper bag!

With Mother’s Day less than three months away, allow me to recommend the MomAgenda as a potential present! I bought my mother one two years ago, and she absolutely loved it. Right now the MomAgendas are 30% off, so you’ll get a great deal, and you’ll definitely be able to afford the personalized engraving!

Psst… you non-moms can enjoy all the benefits and style the MomAgenda has to offer by getting the MyAgenda!
