A few weeks ago I wrote about picking up Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel, since I had a buy-one-get-this-for-free coupon. I had never before used Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel, as I’m generally not into the products that come with disposal applicators and such (it just seems so wasteful!), but I decided to give this stuff a try.
And? I really like it. I don’t know if I like it enough to buy it standalone in the future, but I’ll definitely pick it up if it’s on sale or if I have a coupon. The little blop of gel is very easy to stick to the inside of the toilet (note: I thoroughly scrubbed my toilet before applying the gel, so I didn’t have to worry about sticking the contaminated applicator in my bathroom cabinet). It lasts for about two weeks around here, though the one in the kids’ bathroom obviously lasts a bit longer, since guests use the main bathroom and the kids also tend to congregate in our bathroom throughout the day. The blop of gel seems to do a nice job at keeping the toilet a little cleaner, and it does smell nice. My husband’s only complaint is that it “disrupts the [water] vortex”, but other than that he had no comments either way about Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel.
